From sign-up to your first paid job
Six straightforward steps — no monthly subscriptions, no commitment.
Create your account
Sign up with your details and submit your Environment Agency waste carrier registration number. We verify it before you go live.
Browse jobs near you
See live collection requests posted in your coverage area — with photos, waste type, and postcode. No cold calls, no chasing leads.
Submit a bid — free
Name your price and add any notes for the customer. Bidding costs nothing, every time, on every job.
Customer picks you
If the customer selects your bid you get an instant notification. Only then are credits deducted — never for losing bids.
Agree the details directly
Contact the customer, confirm the collection time, and collect the waste. The platform steps back once you're matched.
Upload the Waste Transfer Note
Complete the job on the platform and upload the WTN. The note is your legal document — it stays with you as the licensed carrier.
You only pay when a customer picks you
Submit as many bids as you like — it's free. Credits are deducted only on a win.
Bid for free
Every bid on every job costs nothing. You'll never be charged for a job you don't win.
Credits on a win
When a customer accepts your bid, a small number of credits is deducted from your account.
Top up when you need to
Buy credit packs in advance — no subscription, no lock-in. Use them at whatever pace suits you.
A small cost per win — not per bid
Credits are our version of a success fee — you only spend them when you actually win work.
Buy a credit pack
Purchase credits upfront — no monthly subscription. Top up whenever you need to, in whatever size suits your volume.
Bid on any job, free
Use as many bids as you like without spending a single credit. Your balance only moves when a customer says yes.
Win a job, credits deducted
A fixed number of credits is deducted the moment a customer accepts your bid. That's the only charge — no commission on payment.
A customer posts a small mixed-load job. You bid £240 and win it. The platform deducts approximately 6 credits from your balance — a small fraction of your earnings from that single job.
These figures are illustrative. Exact credit costs per job tier are shown in your account dashboard. Check current pricing before making commercial decisions based on these numbers.

London boroughs — illustrative
Coverage is determined by your registration settings.
What you need to join
We keep entry requirements focused on what protects customers and keeps the platform legally sound.
Valid EA waste carrier licence
You must hold a current Environment Agency waste carrier, broker or dealer registration — Upper Tier or Lower Tier. We verify the registration number you provide before your account goes live.
London operating area
RubbishBids currently serves London only. Your registered business address or primary operating area must be within the Greater London boundary.
Accepts the WTN workflow
When a job is complete, you upload the Waste Transfer Note through the platform. The WTN remains your legal document — we record that it was issued, not its content.
No minimum volume required
There is no minimum number of jobs you must take per month. You bid when it suits you and take a break whenever you like without losing your account.
